Why Indoor Tanning Won’t Cure Seasonal Affective Disorder - SkinCancer.org

Why Indoor Tanning Won’t Cure Seasonal Affective Disorder - SkinCancer.org

I need to fix my biological clock, it needs new batteries. So, I considered indoor tanning because my friends in the US military said they used to tan to treat Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). After reading the article, "Why Indoor Tanning Won't Cure Seasonal Affective Disorder," I decided to buy higher Kelvin lamps. Mine are currently 6,500 K and according to the article, they're not strong enough to cure SAD because light boxes have 10,000 K bulbs. At the local hardware store, The Home Depot, there were 7,000 K lamps but I didn't see anything higher. I'll go back and ask for assistance though because they might be an online item. SAD symptoms aren't pleasant, especially when your circadian rhythm is out of synchrony and you sleep too much.
